Sir Roy Hardy Dobson

Sir Roy Hardy Dobson - Born in Horsforth, England in 1891, Dobson started with A.V. Roe and Company as a draftsman from 1914 to 1919 (actually getting the job from Alliot Verdon Roe! Over the years, he was promoted up the chain until he was on the board of directors. Retired as chairman of Hawker-Siddeley in 1967 and died July 1968.
