AvroLand is happy to announce that the Canadian Air and Space Museum (formerly Toronto Aerospace Museum) has rolled out their full size replica of the Avro Arrow!



The Township of Madawaska Valley proudly announces the new Zurakowski Park Project which is being built to honour local resident and world-renowned test pilot Janusz Zurakowski. The most notable aircraft tested by Zura was the Canadian supersonic interceptor known as the CF-105 Avro Arrow. The Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Canada www.ahfc.org
followed its tradition and hosted the 55th Anniversary
Celebrations of the First Flight of the C-102 Avro Jetliner.

The event was held: Saturday August 7th., 2004.
As requested by James C. Floyd.

Calendar of Events:
1300 to 1830 hours - Hangar Flying, Displays, Old/New Friends and Cash Bar
1900 to 2030 hours – Dinner
2030 to 0100 hours - Presentations - Films - Speeches

They followed the program for the 55th as was laid out for the 45th and 50th.


Canadian Navy searched for models of the Arrow in Lake Ontario 5-8 July 2004 - read the news release HERE

Unfortunately the only thing related to the models which were located were a few of the Nike booster rockets, other items were located but not related to the Avro Free Flight Models - keep your fingers crossed that another attempt will happen before too long!
